Tussilago farfara, commonly known as coltsfoot, is an herbaceous perennial native to Europe and Asia, but can be found widely growing throughout the temperate regions including North and South America. Coltsfoot leaves have long been used as traditional herbal medicine to treat colds, fever, sore throat, respiratory infections, and rheumatism. Coltsleaf-ANB shows anti-aging effect with anti-oxidant and collagen synthesis activities. Coltsleaf-ANB also shows strong anti-acne and anti-dandruff activities by inhibiting the growth of Cutibacterium acnes (C. acnes) andMalassezia furfur (M. furfur), respectively.
